SUMMARY:DRPT 2024 Spring SYIP Meeting (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) is hosting for the first time a transit-specific Six Year Improvement Program (SYIP) meeting\, which will be held virtually and is scheduled for Thursday\, May 16\, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Attendees will be able to provide comments on funded rail and public transportation projects from FY 2025 through 2030. Register for the online event\, and also view DPRT’s draft FY25 SYIP before the meeting. \nTypically\, the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) conducts an annual SYIP public meeting\, which includes all transportation projects\, from highways to rail. However\, this year DRPT is hosting a transit-specific SYIP\, but DRPT staff will also be attending the annual CTB SYIP meeting\, which occurred on April  24\, 2024 at Laurel Ridge Community College in Middletown. Attendees are welcome to provide transit-related comments at either SYIP meeting. \nLearn more about DPRT.
